Who is Christopher Gilmer Ward 2 Area Councillor Candidate?
Christopher Gilmer Ward 2 Councillor Candidate in Caledon is a Town of Caledon community advocate and volunteer that has deep family roots in the area. He serves on the Caledon Public Library Board of Directors the Caledon Community Services Board of Directors, as well as involved with many community building and fundraising events across town.
Chris’ Caledon family roots run deep. His great grandparents settled on the south west side of Caledon, Terra Cotta, in 1904, and raised their family there. When it was time to hunt out the perfect location to raise his family, Chris and his wife Yvonne thought of no better place they wanted to be than Caledon. With its vast landscapes, endless outdoor amenities and community minded individuals and families, they settled a short cruise away from where his ancestors grew food and tended to animals. Now the proud parents of three daughters, Chris continues to help in the growth of his community, a place where all can have a voice, be proud to live in, and representative of all residents needs.
Responsible Growth in Ward 2
With a unique perspective of Caledon, from the rural side and family farming businesses across our community, to the newer community residents that now call Caledon home, Chris is well situated in the middle, ready to equally serve and represent his neighbours across this area we know as Ward 2. The land we choose to call home – and the land we strive to respect and grow responsibly for generations to come.
