The community hub. Some think of it as a local gathering spot. A place to learn and grow and stay connected. Others think of it as a place to go just to get out of the house and talk with friends, family and neighbours. While all of these are the correct answers, there is no time like the present to make sure we preserve these gems. They are what helps make us who we are.
Caledon is a unique landscape. One that consists of many different villages and hamlets, each offering up their unique versions of community hubs. These are an integral portion of who we are, and what we represent as a local community.
We’re very fortunate in the Ward 2 area of Caledon to have a unique blend of community hubs. Whether it leads more to the food and bevy side with the Cheltenham Village Store sipping coffee in the back, the Red Onion, Coffee Bean, or our newest addition Butter & Cup. Or whether it leads to our integral library system that serves up fresh knowledge and programs daily at Margaret Dunn, Inglewood or our soon to be exciting new branch and recreation center in Southfields.
Having these outlets and being able to connect with each other is a vital key to good growth in a community.
